Description & Requirements

Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

EA's CFO organization comprises a broad group of finance disciplines. Our common goal is partnership with business teams delivering strategies and providing our players with amazing experiences. All of our finance teams assist the business in achieving profitable creativity by providing financial insight, reporting and guidance.

We use progressive tools to analyze and visualize data, telling the story of financial drivers, performance, risks and opportunities. We value attributes like collaboration and learning. We celebrate inclusion by creating a place where you can come to work and be yourself. Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic partnerships to leaders across EA. We do this by engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to help guide EA's performance.

Role Overview

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will guide the Catalyst Studios Finance team supporting our NHL, UFC, and F1 franchises. Reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A - American Football / Catalyst, you will serve as a trusted advisor to studio leadership and cross-functional partners—connecting financial planning, business performance, and development strategy. You will follow a hybrid work schedule, defined as three days a week from an Electronic Arts office.

In this collaborative role, you will mentor and develop your team while staying actively engaged in daily financial operations. You will use clear financial storytelling and sound business judgment to influence partners to make informed decisions that support sustainable growth, profitability, and long-term franchise success.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to studio, product, commercial, and finance leaders, influencing business decisions across franchise strategy, investment prioritization, resource allocation, and return on investment.

  • Own financial planning and performance analysis across supported franchises, including full P&L management, forecasting, close analysis, risks and opportunities, scenario analysis, and executive reporting.
  • Lead and coach Catalyst FP&A team, setting clear priorities, providing thoughtful guidance, and enabling high-quality decision support and strong business impact.
  • Enhance team productivity and impact through prioritization, simplification, automation, standardization, and thoughtful change management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 8 + years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, or a related field; gaming experience helpful.
