Job summary

Susquehanna is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager in Bala Cynwyd, PA, to own day-to-day FP&A and help build capabilities, tools, and processes as the firm grows.

The role spans planning, cost reporting, management reporting, and expense methodologies. This player‑coach position requires strong communication, analytical rigor, and a bias for action, with travel to international offices yearly.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in FP&A or a comparable analytical finance role.
• Proven track record of improving FP&A capabilities and processes.
• Experience developing or refining expense methodologies and cost allocation frameworks.
• Familiarity with return on capital, RWA, and P&L-relative cost metrics in trading/financial services context.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with BI and data tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.
• Clear communicator who builds alignment across teams on complex financial topics.
• Self-starter who drives process improvement and automation.
• Experience building or managing a finance team is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting and forecasting processes; partner with FP&A colleagues globally.
• Partner with senior leaders to build and maintain annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Align planning timelines, methodology, and reporting standards with global FP&A.
• Extend FP&A capabilities toward longer-term strategic planning as the function matures.
• Own cost reporting; ensure transparency and relevance for business decisions.
• Develop and refine return metrics linking P&L to desk and strategy levels.
• Lead and develop the FP&A team; drive continuous improvement and scalability.
