Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager based in Cranberry Township, PA, to lead the Global FP&A team and deliver budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting that informs strategic decisions.

You will partner with cross-functional teams across the globe, develop financial models, and provide executive-level insights. This role requires 6+ years FP&A experience, GAAP expertise, and travel up to 10% in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting or relevant experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering, financial analysis, or similar.
• Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and strong financial acumen with budgeting, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Provide financial data and ad hoc analysis to all levels of management within the business unit and Emerson.
• Partner with world area finance, operations, supply chain, R&D, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support informed business decisions.
• Prepare executive-level reporting and presentations communicating insights and actions.
• Analyze monthly and quarterly business performance, highlighting drivers and impacts.
• Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, and BI tooling.
• Lead and develop finance team members in a collaborative, accountable environment.
• Support new product development by reviewing business cases and guiding stakeholders.
