Job summary

The University of Chicago BSD FIN - Financial Planning & Analysis is seeking a Senior Manager to stabilize a new ERP-driven environment and enhance processes, standards, and reports. You will lead financial modeling, forecasting and variance analysis of UCM/BSD funds flow items, while driving efficiency and safeguarding assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
• 7+ years of work experience in a related finance/accounting discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• CPA or audit-related certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BSD leadership and UCM Finance to identify analytic needs and improve reporting.
• Ensure data integrity across FP&A databases and shared UCM/BSD datasets.
• Deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting to support strategic decisions.
• Lead financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis for funds flow.
• Develop training materials, SOPs, and process maps; drive continuous improvement.
