Job summary

Waylin Partners is seeking a Manager to focus on FP&A and accounting solutions for portfolio companies. You will work with experienced professionals to deploy FP&A and accounting processes that enhance efficiency and drive bottom-line results.

You will translate complex questions into data-driven analyses, build scalable financial models, and develop executive-level presentations to communicate recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years in Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, or Public Accounting.
• Advanced Excel for dynamic financial models.
• Understanding of financial statements and 3-statement modeling.
• CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
• Strong ownership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting process with monthly forecasts and variance analyses.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and historical trend analysis.
• Improve forecasting accuracy and close process efficiency.
• Provide BI with financial results and KPIs.
• Create operational efficiency reports.
• Support process improvements, cost reductions, automation.
• Collaborate with portfolio company and PE firm leadership.
• Manage ad-hoc senior management requests.
