Job summary

PitchBook Data, a Morningstar company, is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and rolling planning. You will partner with leaders to turn data and priorities into clear decisions, focusing on forecast quality, allocation, and ROI.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, automation, and AI-enabled workflows to deliver scalable insights. You will collaborate across Finance, BI, Data, and Engineering while upholding PitchBook’s values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance/Accounting/Business/Economics/Engineering.
• 5+ years in Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance or related analytical role.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, monthly close support.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecast cycles.
• Own and improve forecast processes for bookings, revenue, expenses, headcount.
• Run scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to inform leadership decisions.
• Support monthly close and variances with root-cause analysis and actions.
• Automate recurring forecast refreshes and improve planning outputs for decision-making.
• Provide executive-ready narratives linking financial outcomes to strategy and operations.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and actions; drive cross-functional collaboration across Finance.
