Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Staff Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across multiple business units. You will develop advanced financial models, assess risks, and provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to evaluate financial performance, prepare executive dashboards, and drive scalable planning improvements in a fast-growing space

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience developing and implementing financial budgets and forecasts.
• Experience in developing cost volumes, BOEs, and roll-ups of NREs/REs.
• Understanding of EVMS principles and Program Baseline Planning.
• Ability to analyze data and synthesize complexity into clarity for decision-making.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning activities across multiple business organizations.
• Develop advanced financial models, scenario analyses, and strategic planning tools for executive decision-making.
• Evaluate complex financial and operational performance to identify risks, opportunities, and long-term trends.
• Provide financial recommendations to support growth, investments, and strategic priorities.
• Lead development of executive financial reports, dashboards, and performance analyses.
• Evaluate financial processes and implement scalable improvements across the organization.
• Support cross-functional initiatives by evaluating financial impacts and proposing strategic solutions.
