Job summary

CesiumAstro is hiring a Staff Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to partner with Finance leadership and business teams on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance initiatives. You will build complex financial models, analyze performance, and support decisions across the organization.

The role emphasizes forecasting accuracy, improved financial reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in a dynamic startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years in finance/FP&A roles.
• Advanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems and BI/reporting platforms.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning for assigned business units.
• Develop complex financial models and scenario analyses.
• Analyze financial performance and identify key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Provide financial guidance to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Prepare executive dashboards and financial reports for leadership reviews.
• Support investment analyses, capital planning, and strategic initiatives.
