Edelman Financial Engines is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead finance analytics, forecasting, and strategic planning. The role reports to the Director of FP&A and partners with the VP of FP&A, CFO, and senior leaders to transform complex financial data into actionable insights.

The candidate should bring strong modeling, communication, and project management skills, with experience presenting to lenders, ratings agencies, and private equity sponsors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, Strategic Finance, or related areas.
• Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of capital markets, especially private equity and direct lending.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for executive materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate analyses into insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenarios.
• Analyze key drivers, profitability, growth trends, and enterprise performance.
• Partner with finance leadership to evaluate risks, opportunities, and outcomes.
• Create executive-ready presentations and communicate results clearly to leadership.
• Support planning processes monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and external stakeholder interactions.
