Edelman Financial Engines is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead finance analytics, forecasting, and strategic planning. The role reports to the Director of FP&A and partners with the VP of FP&A, CFO, and senior leaders to transform complex financial data into actionable insights.
The candidate should bring strong modeling, communication, and project management skills, with experience presenting to lenders, ratings agencies, and private equity sponsors.

You will play a key role within the Finance organization, reporting directly to the Director of FP&A, and partnering closely with the VP of FP&A, CFO, and senior business leaders. This role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, strategic planning, investor communications, and external stakeholder engagement, helping transform complex financial information into actionable insights and compelling business narratives.
We are looking for a highly analytical finance professional who combines strong financial modeling capabilities with exceptional communication and project management skills. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a forecast model, developing executive‑level presentations, coordinating cross‑functional initiatives, and supporting interactions with lenders, ratings agencies, and private equity sponsors.
This role offers significant visibility across the organization and an opportunity to influence strategic decision‑making at the highest levels of the business.
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market‑based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is below. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job‑related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
Pay Range
$106,400 - $156,000 USD
