Job summary

Azenta Life Sciences seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Leader to provide FP&A leadership for a fast-growing public company. You will lead the annual operating plan and multi-year strategy, and build business cases for new opportunities.

You will mentor the extended finance team, partner with executives and the Board, and develop analytics tools to improve financial processes. Onsite in Burlington, MA with travel occasional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ in leadership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and metrics.
• U.S. GAAP and SOX/internal control knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Oracle, HFM, OneStream, Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted business partner and provide sound financial guidance.
• Lead the annual operating plan and multi-year plan cycles.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze forecasts and drivers.
• Provide monitoring and insights; develop leading indicators.
• Build data analytics and BI capabilities; create reporting tools.
• Standardize processes and educate the organization.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations on earnings and messaging.
• Prepare Board materials and business cases for decisions.
• Assess growth opportunities including new products/locations and M&A.
