Job summary

Upbound Group is seeking a Principal, Financial & Planning – RAC Expense FP&A to own RAC expense planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and cross‑functional business support. This role partners with Operations, Accounting, HR, Risk, Marketing, and Digital Technology to deliver executive‑ready insights that drive EBITDA.

You will manage RAC expense forecasting across labor, benefits, fleet/delivery, insurance and other store costs, build flexible models, and support monthly close,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field.
• MBA, CPA or CFA designation is a plus.
• Minimum 4+ years of FP&A or related analytical experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills with flexible forecast models.
• Experience with ERP, BI tools, and enterprise planning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own RAC expense forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for major expense categories.
• Maintain and enhance expense models for labor, fleet, insurance, and other costs.
• Prepare monthly close, forecast, budget, and long-range analyses with explanations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to validate assumptions and improve data accuracy.
• Identify expense risks and opportunities, including cost-saving initiatives.
