Job summary

Upbound Group seeks a Principal, Financial & Planning for RAC Expense FP&A to own forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and cross‑functional business support for RAC expenses across labor, fleet, insurance, and store operating costs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and 4+ years in FP&A or corporate finance, advanced Excel and financial modeling, and experience with ERP/BI tools (Oracle, EPM, Power BI).

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; MBA/CPA/CFA a plus.
4+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical role.
Strong forecasting and variance analysis experience with ownership of cost portfolio.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP/BI tools.

Responsibilities

Own RAC expense forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis across major cost categories.
Prepare monthly close, forecast, budget, and long-range plan analyses with drivers and run-rate items.
Partner with Operations, Accounting, HR, Risk, Marketing, Procurement and Digital Tech to validate assumptions.
Identify expense risks/opportunities and support cost-saving initiatives and reporting.
Support weekly dashboards, monthly reviews, and executive expense commentary.
