Vaco by Highspring seeks a Senior Financial Analysis Lead for a contract-to-hire role with a nonprofit client in Manhattan, NY. Hybrid setup: three days in the office, two days remote.

You will own FP&A planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and executive reporting, partnering with cross-functional leaders to translate strategy into actionable financial insights. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of FP&A experience and strong modeling skills, with donor funding knowledge and KPI

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or strategic financial management (nonprofit FP&A experience strongly preferred).
• Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting capabilities; deep proficiency with financial management systems, reporting software, and Excel/bi-tools.

Responsabilités

• Lead the annual organization-wide budget process, driving alignment and coordination across all department heads.
• Develop dynamic financial forecasts, long-range financial plans, and scenario models aligned with strategic organizational priorities.
• Translate strategic initiatives into clear, measurable financial and operational targets, KPIs, and executive reporting frameworks.
• Build, maintain, and enhance sophisticated financial models to support resource allocation, capital planning, and key operational decisions.
