Job summary

Bloomberg Industry Group is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional in Arlington to drive end-to-end financial solutions. You will build budgets, forecasts, and schedules, while forming strong partnerships across internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes GAAP knowledge, PM practices, and data analysis using advanced tools. Qualifications include a finance-related degree or equivalent, 7+ years in FP&A or corporate finance, and proficiency with Excel and analytics platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
7 years' direct experience in financial planning & analysis, business analytics, and/or corporate or strategic finance.
Experience in program/project management.
Strong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of data while succinctly summarizing findings.
GAAP knowledge and financial analysis tools (trend and variance analyses).
Knowledge of Project Management Principles, processes, and methodologies with scheduling and PM tools.
Ability to coordinate and execute projects independently, manage time, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with project management software (Smartsheet, Asana, or MS Project).
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP).
Experience with workflow/analysis tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx).
Experience with Salesforce, Workday, or similar systems is a plus.
Experience in subscription-based business is a plus.

Responsibilities

Gain a financial and operational understanding of the business to deliver end-to-end financials solutions and support.
Develop, manage, and communicate budgets and timelines for budget and forecasting cycles across stakeholders.
Establish and maintain business partner relationships to deliver end-to-end solutions and support.
Maintain structured organizational systems for financial models, reports, templates, and documents with version control.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend best practices to increase efficiency.
Develop, standardize, and maintain detailed process documentation and templates for budgeting, forecasting, investments, and workflows.
Drive and manage ad-hoc projects or analyses for strategic initiatives.
