Job summary

Charter Manufacturing, a fourth-generation family-owned business, seeks a strategic Finance Leader to partner with senior leadership and guide forecasting, planning, and financial analysis. You will lead the finance team, drive decision-making, and ensure robust controls and reporting across Commercial, Supply Chain, and General Accounting.

The role emphasizes building capability, mentoring talent, and influencing beyond Finance to shape business strategy and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Eight plus years’ experience in accounting and/or finance.
• Three plus years’ experience as a finance business partner.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Ability to lead cross-functional finance initiatives.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic finance partner to leadership with insight for decisions.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning.
• Communicate performance, drivers, risks and opportunities to execs.
• Strengthen decision-making with Commercial and Supply Chain leaders.
• Improve monthly close, forecasting models, tools and processes.
• Oversee accounting activities, controls, and financial reporting.
• Coach and develop the finance team across the organization.
• Leverage data and BI tools to improve reporting and decisions.
• Partner on strategic initiatives and organizational change.
• Build relationships across the organization to drive results.
