Job summary

D&H Distributing, a 100+ year-old employee-owned technology distributor, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst for hybrid work based in Harrisburg, PA or Clearwater, FL. You will model finances, evaluate strategic initiatives, and develop dashboards to support FP&A and Sales teams, collaborating with leadership to monitor KPI performance.

Responsibilities include daily financial analysis, communicating metrics to executives, and proposing cost/quality initiatives based on data insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint proficiency.
• 5+ years of previous related analyst experience.
• Experience with business intelligence systems (Cognos, Hyperion) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day analytical requests for Finance and Sales; provide and measure status for strategic Initiatives.
• Utilize database tools and Excel to identify and effectively communicate key metrics to senior management.
• Propose projects to achieve cost/quality/service objectives based on data analysis.
• Construct simulation models and analyze the impacts and benefits of investments and changes considered by the organization.
• Collaborate effectively with various departments throughout D&H to establish partnerships and bridge the gap between Finance, Sales, and Operations.
• Provide ongoing monitoring/reporting on critical projects to the executive team as necessary.

Summary

A Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for financial modeling, evaluating strategic initiatives and report creation to support the Financial Planning & Analysis and Sales teams. The Senior Financial Analyst will work with Leadership and Executives to evaluate opportunities and monitor the performance of the business. The position will also manage and maintain various dashboards used to track and forecast KPI’s as required.
