Job summary

Kforce is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a client engagement in Bethesda, MD. This role leads budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analyses to drive performance and growth. You will partner with finance and business leaders, build complex models, and present insights to executives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A or related fields, advanced Excel skills, and strong communication abilities. Hybrid work options may be available depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or related areas.
• Experience developing executive-level financial reports and presentations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, long-range planning, and forecasting processes.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for planning and investments.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and KPIs.
• Partner with department leaders to provide insights and recommendations.
• Prepare executive dashboards and reporting packages.
• Support strategic projects, due diligence, and ad hoc analyses.
• Evaluate investments via ROI and scenario analysis.
• Mentor junior financial analysts.
