Job summary

Compass Minerals seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst in Overland Park, KS to fortify financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis across multiple segments. This role partners with operations, commercial teams, and leadership to identify value drivers, improve forecast accuracy, and drive long-term performance.

The ideal candidate translates complex data into actionable insights, collaborates cross-functionally, and supports strategic decision-making with robust financial modeling

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, or related experience.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business analysis processes.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (JD Edwards) and financial planning tools (OneStream, Oracle EPBCS).
• Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence platforms.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, problem-solving, and communication skills; proficient in Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and coordination of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
• Lead monthly and quarterly forecasting processes with accuracy and alignment to business objectives.
• Review and analyze budget and forecast assumptions, including commercial and operational impacts.
• Develop forecasting tools, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
