Job summary

AXS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Los Angeles to support FP&A activities, including P&L analyses, budgeting, and monthly closes. You will build financial models, forecast performance, and provide insights to business leaders across departments.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of experience, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and familiarity with planning tools and Oracle/Hubble. This role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 4–6 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and/or accounting
• Experience with Planning solutions, Oracle, or Hubble desired
• Advanced Excel, modeling, and PowerPoint skills; ability to learn business systems
• Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and accounting knowledge
• Ability to work with large datasets and communicate findings clearly
• Seasonal overtime may be required to support business needs

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex financial analyses to identify trends and recommendations
• Assist leaders in developing annual budgets and monthly forecasts
• Support department leads in managing P&L activities through collaboration
• Analyze historical data and industry trends to forecast revenue/expenses
• Evaluate data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement
• Prepare variance explanations for monthly management P&L reviews and present as needed
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate monthly closes for high-volume areas
• Answer transactional inquiries and provide analytics-based solutions
• Publish presentations for Financial Review and Budget meetings
• Ensure compliance of invoicing and expense management procedures
