Job summary

CohnReznick is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our corporate Finance leadership team in New York. You will consolidate forecasts, explain budget variances, and support board packs and planning tools.

You will help drive annual budgets, reforecasts, and AI-enabled insights, with in-person collaboration in New York or Parsippany, NJ. Strong Excel, financial acumen, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of total experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or Big 4 audit or transaction services; investment banking experience a plus.
• Experience at a private equity-backed company a plus; experience with professional services metrics (utilization, realization, and WIP) a plus.
• Advanced Excel and knowledge of the three financial statements; Adaptive or similar planning tool a plus; data visualization or automation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python) a plus.
• Strong attention to detail; able to meet monthly cycle deadlines.
• Clear writing and speaking; able to explain numbers to non-finance leaders; discreet with confidential information.
• Comfortable using AI tools to reduce manual work and improve analysis.
• Willing to be in person for team meetings in New York or Parsippany, NJ.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate forecast and actuals into one set of numbers each month.
• Explain variances to budget and forecast by driver.
• Support the board pack build: tables, charts, reconciliations, and tie-outs to the close.
• Maintain and improve planning templates and reports in Adaptive, collaborating with planning systems team.
• Support annual budget and periodic reforecasts; assist with partner inputs and forecast quality checks.
• Reduce manual data preparation and reconciliation through better templates, automation, and reporting tools.
• Build ad hoc analysis for the CFO and Senior leadership as directed by FP&A lead.
