Beast Industries in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain in a fast-moving consumer goods environment. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will own forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling, build KPI dashboards, and translate data into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance within the CPG, food and beverage industry.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, and macros.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite or SAP and solid GAAP knowledge.
• Ability to analyze complex data and translate findings into business recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning activities.
• Build and maintain customer-specific forecasts incorporating trade spend, pricing, commodity costs, and consumer demand trends.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses and management reporting packages.
• Develop KPI dashboards and financial reporting to support leadership decision-making.
• Build financial models for new product launches, pricing analysis, profitability analysis, and ad hoc business cases.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to evaluate business initiatives and performance drivers.
• Analyze promotional effectiveness, product portfolio performance, and cost savings opportunities.
• Improve reporting processes and data analytics capabilities through existing platforms and AI-enabled tools.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and support executive-level presentations.
