Job summary

Honeycomb.io is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen our FP&A team. You will support financial reporting, forecasting, monthly close cycles, and ad-hoc analyses to help scale our software business.

The role requires 5+ years in FP&A or related areas, strong Excel/Sheets modeling, and collaboration across departments. Enjoy a fully distributed workplace with competitive equity and generous benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A, strategic planning, P&L management or related experience in software/tech.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets with modeling expertise and fast-paced delivery.
• Experience with SaaS metrics and ASC 606 revenue recognition is a plus.
• Ability to work across teams, meet deadlines, and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts and annual plan.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders in accounting, sales ops and finance.
• Support month-end close, variance analysis, and board reporting.
• Develop budgeting tools, improve forecasting processes, and drive efficiency.
• Lead ad-hoc analyses and special projects to scale finance operations.
