Job summary

JD Power is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A to lead core financial planning, analysis, and performance management across Dealer and FSAAS verticals in a remote USA/Canada setting. You will own forecasting, reporting, and scalable models, partnering with Finance leadership and product teams to shape investment decisions.

The role requires 8–10 years in finance/FP&A, SaaS experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint, and proficiency with Tableau/Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related analytical discipline.
8-10 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical role; experience supporting executive, product, and technology leadership is preferred.
Experience working in SaaS/technology companies and private equity portfolio environments is strongly preferred.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including pivot tables and lookups; familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance management processes for key areas across the Dealer and FSAAS verticals.
Create and enhance financial models, KPI dashboards, reporting tools, and planning frameworks for executive visibility and data-driven product investment decisions.
Use BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar), SQL/Databricks/Snowflake, and financial systems to design and deliver accurate, scalable reporting on Dealer and FSAAS top-line performance and key business drivers.
Develop insights and recommendations for business leaders on budget performance, variance drivers, forecast risks and opportunities, investment trade-offs, and cost-optimization opportunities across technology investments and vendor spend.
Support the development of monthly and quarterly executive and board-level materials, translating complex financial and operational data into clear narratives for senior technology and product leadership.
Drive cross-functional planning with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align roadmap planning, investment priorities, and resource allocation decisions.
Identify, develop, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities, including use of AI tools and data automation to increase forecast accuracy, planning efficiency, and executive visibility.
Lead ad hoc financial analyses and special projects for FP&A leadership, CFO, and Dealer & FSAAS leadership.
