Job summary

WEX is seeking a self-driven Financial Analyst to join the Over-The-Road and Factoring FP&A Team. This role offers remote or hybrid work options and is based within commutable distance to Portland, ME, with coverage for several major U.S. cities.

You will contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts, prepare income statements for OTR and Factoring, and partner with accounting and leadership to drive accurate and timely close processes and analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
• 5-8+ years of financial analysis experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, V-Lookups, Formulas) and Access.
• GSuite experience preferred.
• MBA and/or CPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral part of monthly, quarterly and annual forecast and budget processes with responsibility for the income statement analysis for OTR and Factoring businesses.
• Collaborate with finance peers, general manager of OTR & Factoring, and the Director, Finance.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reports.
• Respond to internal financial information requests.
• Partner with Corporate Accounting to analyze monthly results for accurate close.
• Improve reporting processes through automation or changes.
• Prepare budgets, reviews, and budget proposals aligned with plan.
• Coordinate and produce full monthly forecast and analysis for Senior Management.
