Job summary

Sherpa is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst in the Charlotte area for a hybrid role focused on OPEX management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial insights. This role partners with business leaders to drive cost discipline and supports month-end close and capital expenditure oversight.

You will leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to streamline reporting and improve the overall effectiveness of the finance function, joining a collaborative team that values analytical thinking and strong business

Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance or accounting experience.
• Experience partnering across functions to solve complex problems.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with data-driven insights.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report global OPEX spending.
• Support month-end close and posting journal entries.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting for OPEX.
• Analyze headcount and labor costs for planning.
• Partner with leaders to align spending with targets.
• Leverage digital/AI tools to improve reporting.
