Job summary

Planned Parenthood Federation of America is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Affiliate Financial & Business Analytics team. The role provides analytical support for planning, forecasting, and reporting to ensure financial sustainability of PPFA affiliates.

The analyst will build dashboards, monitor performance, and translate data into actionable funding recommendations, collaborating with CFOs and cross‑functional partners to drive affiliate stability and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of FP&A experience, preferably with a 501c(3) organization.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and process automation.
• Professional, confidential handling of sensitive information.
• Excellent analytical and deadline-driven mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse, results-driven team.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience creating dashboards and financial reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for governance bodies.
• Present financial findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner.
• Support affiliate discussions by translating financial data into actionable recommendations.
• Perform comprehensive financial analyses of affiliate performance including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and operations.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and forecasting tools for strategic decisions.
• Support implementation and administration of EFMP and FA SE programs.
• Monitor affiliate financial health and identify opportunities for targeted intervention.
• Track outcomes of funding and evaluate the impact of investments.
