firstPRO, Inc. seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial planning, forecasting, and business analysis in a Philadelphia manufacturing environment. You will connect financial results to operational performance and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include building robust financial models, analyzing profitability, and creating KPI dashboards to guide strategic decisions and improve reporting processes as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, business planning, or a similar role.
• Manufacturing or physical-product industry experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including independently building and maintaining financial models.
• Hands-on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Understanding of gross margin, manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, or supply chain economics.
• Experience developing KPI reports and analyzing large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Anaplan, or similar tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial planning: Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning.
• Build financial models: Develop models for revenue, gross margin, labor, operating expenses, and cash flow.
• Analyze business performance: Compare actuals to budgets, forecasts, and history to identify trends and risks.
• Evaluate manufacturing economics: Analyze production costs, labor, inventory, and other factors affecting margins.
• Develop management reporting: Create KPI dashboards and recurring reports for leadership.
• Connect operations to financial results: Monitor sales, backlog, production, shipments, inventory, and productivity.
• Support business decisions: Perform ad hoc analysis on pricing, labor efficiency, supply chain, capex, and improvements.
• Improve reporting processes: Strengthen ERP data quality and planning infrastructure.
• Partner across the business: Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and leaders to turn findings into recommendations.
