Job summary

Vantedge Medical, a metals-based med-tech manufacturing partner, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join the plant finance team in San Jose, CA. You will provide detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic insights tailored to manufacturing operations.

You will own month-end close, drive the annual plan and multiple forecast cycles, and build robust models for capital projects to support profitability and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong proficiency in KPI development and reporting, sales forecasting and financial modeling.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with manufacturing ERP systems; Infor VISUAL and SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close responsibilities for the plant, including journal entries and reconciliations for manufacturing cost and inventory accounts.
• Lead annual operating plan (AOP) and forecast cycles, communicating variances and risks to leadership.
• Build financial models for capital projects, including capex, cash flow, and labor planning.
• Track KPIs and variances; analyze labor, production, and inventory costs to support cost control.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering to improve margins and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, controls, and regulatory requirements; assist in audits.
