Job summary

Abbott in Alameda, CA seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with Commercial & Marketing teams, focusing on actuals reporting and forecasting for Plan, rLBE and Confirm processes. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of finance experience (FP&A, Cost/General Accounting and Financial Reporting).
• Excellent skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase is preferred.
• Ability to plan, implement and administer financial information and control systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end close activities, including journal entries and variance analysis.
• Provide timely, well-presented sales results, P&L, balance sheet, and forecasting.
• Lead planning activities with commercial teams for revenue, margins, and expenses.
• Develop and maintain financial models for new product launches and ROI analyses.
• Prepare LBE decks for senior management with concise, executive-ready submissions.
• Create metrics and reports to monitor monthly performance and cost drivers.
