Job summary

Abbott Park, IL hosts an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver primary FP&A support, including monthly reporting and analytics for CEO-level review. You’ll partner with Corporate FP&A and other divisions to provide insights into country performance, sales, and profitability, guiding strategic decisions across Abbott’s finance teams.

The role requires at least 4 years of experience, a finance or accounting degree, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 4 years relevant professional experience.
• Experience with financial and variance analysis, forecasting and modeling.
• Proficient in MS Office and financial planning applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidation of monthly Sales Flash reporting for Corporate Controller.
• Lead/assist with consolidation of monthly Operations package for CEO Staff meeting.
• Provide meaningful insights into monthly results for Corporate Controller and Operations Staff meetings.
• Serve as point person for country-specific income statements and requests from Treasury/IR/CFP&A/CFR.
• Consolidate and comment on monthly Top 10 Country P&Ls for CEO and CFO.
• Assist with Board package consolidation and OEM process.
• Support automation and updated documentation across reporting processes.
