Job summary

Ophelia is hiring a Senior Analyst to support core financial operations across a multi-state healthcare platform. You will own portions of the monthly close, build and present the financials, and drive ROI analyses.

You will partner with Operations, Technology, Marketing, and People teams to ensure accurate reporting and strategic planning. You will grow into broader ownership of internal ROI analyses, contributing to company growth and financial health.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or a comparable analytical finance role with a track record of owning monthly close and reporting cycles.
• Strong accounting foundation, including accrual concepts and how entries flow through the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; able to build and audit models from scratch and identify errors.

Responsibilities

• Own the recurring components of the monthly close and coordinate with external accounting partners.
• Draft the monthly reporting package: P&Ls, budget vs actual, ROI metrics, and leadership decks.
• Build and maintain department/state-level budget vs. actual reporting and explain variances to owners.
• Prepare external financial deliverables for board and lenders.
• Support annual planning and re-forecast cycles with department leads.
• Run ad hoc internal ROI analyses with business partners to inform decisions.
