Job summary

iWorkforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team in Houston. The role focuses on FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling and reporting to support performance and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial analysis, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on experience building and automating models with Power Query; SQL and analytics tools are a plus. This role offers a hybrid schedule (onsite 3 days, remote 2) in Houston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in financial analysis, FP&A, or similar.
• Strong FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel with complex formulas and modeling.
• Hands-on experience building automations using Power Query.
• Experience writing SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variances.
• Develop rolling forecasts and annual budgets across business units.
• Analyze P&L, revenue trends, margins, and cost variances.
• Build and automate financial models using Power Query and Excel.
• Develop reporting processes and KPIs to support management decisions.
• Translate data into actionable insights for leaders.
• Support revenue recognition using percentage-of-completion (POC).
• Assist audits and ensure SOX compliance and internal controls.
