Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Analyst for Financial Planning & Analysis. This hybrid role requires on-site presence regularly in the Pittsburgh office as determined by leadership, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

You will develop models, analyse performance, and provide insights to guide strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in FP&A, strong Excel skills, and experience with planning software, thriving in a dynamic healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial planning software.
• Self-starter who can deliver in a dynamic environment under tight timelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights.
• Strong communication and accountability.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Develops and maintains financial models and tools to support business performance and decision-making.
• Conducts comprehensive financial analysis, identifies trends, and provides strategic insights to senior management.
• Provides insightful analysis regarding period over period and actual vs. forecast performance; continually improves and manages variance analyses reporting.
• Conducts ad-hoc research and analyses around performance and profitability, addressable market, resource allocations, operational efficiencies, etc.
• Collaborates with various teams, including controlling, accounting, and other functional departments, to gather, validate, and analyze financial data.
• Monitors key financial metrics, proactively identifies areas of concern, and recommends appropriate actions.
• Develops a deep understanding of business drivers at both the product and overall enterprise levels.
• Plays a key role in supporting growth and value-maximizing initiatives.
• Provides guidance and support to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
