Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an experienced FP&A professional to provide analytical support to operating group leadership and drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The role focuses on designing reports, building financial models, and partnering with IT to ensure data integrity.

You will lead forecasting, create planning templates, and identify opportunities for process improvements to boost efficiency and decision quality across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A experience.
• Graduate degree or professional certification preferred.
• CPA or CFP certification highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provides analytical support to operating group leadership and acts as a liaison between departments.
• Analyzes and interprets financial results and articulates the narrative behind the numbers to management.
• Designs and prepares ad hoc and standard management reporting.
• Proactively seeks opportunities to provide insightful reports to management.
• Independently constructs moderate to complex financial models to analyze initiatives.
• Leads the forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Creates and maintains planning templates and reports; helps construct revenue and expense plans.
• Identifies patterns and outliers and provides insight into data meanings.
• Partners with IT to develop and maintain financial systems integrity.
• Identifies areas for process improvement and implements methods to reduce errors.
• Performs all duties in accordance with company policies and laws.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
