Job summary

First American in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. You will perform financial reporting, forecasting support, and analysis for corporate functions, operating divisions, and business partners, applying GAAP concepts and strong Excel skills.

The role emphasizes preparing monthly/quarterly reports, building financial models, and delivering ad hoc analyses. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear communication of insights are essential

Qualifications

Strong foundation in financial analysis and accounting concepts.
Understanding of GAAP financial statements and relationships between IS, BS and cash flow.
Experience in FP&A, financial reporting or corporate finance preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare, maintain, and deliver recurring monthly and quarterly financial reports and analyses.
Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, risks, and drivers.
Support forecasting and planning activities with historical data and assumptions.
Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis.
Review and audit Excel models for accuracy and integrity.
Perform ad hoc analyses for management and business partners.
Communicate results clearly to Finance and non-Finance audiences.
Contribute to quarterly earnings reviews and vendor financial reviews.
