Job summary

Century Group is partnering with a client in California to fill a Senior Financial Analyst role. The position offers a direct hire and a salary range of $105,000 to $115,000 per year.

You will develop long-range forecasts, budgeting models, and planning tools to support strategic decisions, and prepare analyses and executive presentations that provide insight into business performance and future trends. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of FP&A experience are required, with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, public accounting, or related area.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience developing complex financial models and forecasting tools.
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high quality results in a fast paced environment.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in commercial real estate, investment analysis, or asset management environments.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Prior experience creating executive dashboards, automated reporting solutions, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long range financial forecasts, budgeting models, and planning tools to support strategic business decisions.
• Prepare financial analyses, management reports, and executive presentations that provide insight into business performance and future trends.
• Support cash flow planning, capital allocation initiatives, and financial modeling related to growth and investment opportunities.
• Partner with operational and finance teams to gather business assumptions, evaluate performance, and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Lead reporting enhancements, automation projects, and process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability.
