Job summary

Kin is seeking a senior FP&A professional to own and expand financial reporting, forecast modeling, and month-end deliverables. You’ll contribute to Kin’s growth across states and current product performance, reporting to the Director of FP&A.

4+ years of FP&A experience is required, with a strong emphasis on forecast modeling and recurring reporting. Ideal candidates will translate financial data into strategic recommendations, collaborate cross-functionally, and work in a remote-first

Qualifications

• 4+ years in FP&A, with forecast modeling and recurring reporting.
• Proficient in building/maintaining financial models in Excel/GS.
• Experience owning monthly/quarterly reporting cycles.
• Translate financial data into strategic insights for leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with non-Finance teams.
• Familiar with Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, NetSuite or Anaplan.
• Insurance/fintech or high-growth startup experience.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring financial reporting deliverables and ensure accuracy.
• Build and maintain forecast models using Kin’s methodologies.
• Manage monthly and quarterly reporting cycles end-to-end.
• Drive ad hoc analyses informing state/product growth strategy.
• Improve processes for reporting and forecasting workflows.
• Maintain data integrity across forecast models and tools.
• Track and report key financial/operational metrics for expansion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine forecasting standards.
