Jobot in Irvine, CA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to build and maintain the company’s financial model, incorporating actuals to track trends and spend against budget/forecast. The role will prepare and analyze monthly Budget vs.

Actual reports, identify variances, and support forecasting and quarterly planning. You'll track KPIs, analyze expense data at GL level, and surface insights for decision-makers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Experience in medical device/healthcare/life sciences preferred.
• Strong GL and accounting understanding.
• Advanced Excel and SQL skills.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain the company's financial model, incorporating actuals to track trends and spend against budget/forecast.
• Prepare and analyze monthly Budget vs. Actual reports — identify, quantify, and explain variances.
• Support recurring forecasting and quarterly planning activities.
• Track and analyze KPIs and provide insights into financial and operational performance.
• Review monthly operating expense actuals at the GL/account and cost center level.
• Query large-scale data warehouse and ERP datasets (SQL, Snowflake) to build automated reporting and dashboards.
• Establish and document repeatable financial processes as the company scales.
• Support monthly close, variance analysis, trend analysis, and management reporting.
• Partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver analysis and recommendations.
• Respond to ad hoc financial questions and analytical requests from senior leadership.
