Job summary

Amazon seeks a highly effective Senior Financial Analyst to join the Amazon Customer Service FP&A team to support financial planning, analysis, and business decisions across the CS organization. You will partner with Finance leaders to drive global standardization, forecasting, and process improvement.

The role emphasizes data-driven storytelling, ad-hoc analyses, and scalable tools to strengthen monthly reviews and annual planning. Seattle-based or flexible within WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field.
• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience.
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience.
• Knowledge of SQL and Excel at a moderate or advanced level.
• Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organization.
• Experience prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive).
• Experience working cross functionally across several teams.
• Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve financial processes to ensure data integrity, efficient analyses, and insightful analysis
• Collaborate with key stakeholders worldwide to drive global standardization of metric and reporting definitions
• Manage and develop scalable financial tools that align and simplify monthly business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes
• Sourcing, analyzing, and reporting quantitative data; perform ad-hoc analyses
