KONG Company is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team in Golden, CO. This role leads budgeting, P&L and cash flow forecasting, builds financial models, and partners with leaders to deliver actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in financial planning & analysis or related finance disciplines.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with FP&A software.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, and long-range plans with VP Finance.
• Track expenditures vs budget; monitor GL performance and reconcile variances.
• Analyze monthly results; identify drivers of variance and communicate to leadership.
• Conduct financial research and forecast trends; build cash flow forecasts (12-month).
• Create financial models for strategic initiatives and new opportunities.
• Provide analyses for internal customers on projects; support business plans.
• Decision support: ROI, budget/forecast analysis; supply chain and inventory analysis.
• Evaluate costs; identify savings; report product performance and trends.
• Partner with business leaders for financial insight and strategic decisions.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting; support month-end/quarter-end close.
• Prepare materials for executive and board reporting; mentor junior analysts.
