Job summary

The University of Chicago is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for the FP&A team in the Treasury Operations group. The role supports university-wide decision making through budgeting, forecasting, and benefit management analysis.

You will partner with HR and other stakeholders to prepare annual budgets for the employee benefit pool and contribute to quarterly budget reviews. Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years of related experience, strong Excel modeling skills, and knowledge of GAAP.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field preferred; strong quantitative skills required.
• Experience with financial planning and analysis in higher education or corporate treasury preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports development of financial reporting tools and analyses for university financial performance and budgeting.
• Maintains external databases including Oracle for reporting and analysis.
