Job summary

Amazon Advertising LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to shape the financial strategy of our Autos business unit. You will partner closely with product, operations, and business leaders to drive planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights.

You will own end-to-end headcount planning, scenario modeling, and performance reporting, building financial models and aligning plans with strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
• 3+ years of experience in headcount planning, capacity planning, workforce management, or related operational planning preferred.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• Experience with data analysis and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end headcount and capacity planning, including workforce forecasting, hiring plans, staffing requirements, resource allocation, and budget alignment with HR.
• Drive productivity and efficiency by defining metrics, monitoring trends, and improving resource utilization.
• Lead FP&A activities including forecasting, planning, variance analysis, scenario modeling, and performance reporting.
• Build and manage financial models to forecast outcomes, assess scenarios, and track operating metrics.
• Partner with leaders to align financial and operating plans with strategic priorities.
• Own goal-setting and performance tracking to support leadership decisions.
• Drive AI adoption across finance by building and deploying financial AI agents to automate workflows.
