Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Financial Analyst for Amazon Advertising to build financial and operational reports, conduct analyses, and drive data-driven recommendations. This role supports Alexa and Fire Tablet advertising efforts and may be located in New York or Seattle.

You will partner with Finance, Product, and Engineering leaders to deliver weekly and monthly financial reports, develop scalable models, and automate reporting processes using AI tools.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of finance experience.
• 1+ years of applying KPIs to analyses.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable models and analyses on revenue drivers and advertiser performance.
• Co-author and provide data for high-visibility business mechanisms.
• Provide financial insights for periodic business reviews with stakeholders.
• Partner with Finance Manager to support quarterly and annual financial plans.
• Collaborate with BIE and Data Science to automate reports and dashboards using AI tooling.
• Deliver targeted ad-hoc analyses and financial models with actionable recommendations.
• Identify data discrepancies and implement financial controls; document processes for knowledge transfer.
