Job summary

Babel Street is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Reston, VA. You will own core FP&A processes, collaborating with the Director and Senior Manager to drive forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across the business.

This is a highly visible role that interfaces with senior leadership and key stakeholders. You will build and maintain complex financial models, automate workflows, and contribute to long-range planning and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FP&A or analytical finance experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel and data analysis.
• Ability to build and maintain complex models and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the weekly cash forecasting process with finance and accounting partners.
• Maintain the monthly rolling forecast and long-range financial model.
• Develop budgets and forecasts with department heads and analyze variances.
• Assist with annual budgeting and long-range planning.
• Deliver decision-ready analyses on performance, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Support M&A activities including due diligence and modeling.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline FP&A workflows with data technologies.
