Job summary

Catapult in Boston seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst to deliver financial analysis and support to the Senior Leadership team. You will partner with Finance, Commercial, and BI teams to drive timely, high-quality analysis and insight, leveraging AI tools and automation.

You will own budgeting and forecasting for multiple business units, build self-service dashboards, and lead end-to-end automation of FP&A reporting, shaping CFO reporting and real-time visibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in complex financial modeling and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Strong business partnering skills and ability to influence senior leaders with data.
• Experience automating manual financial processes using AI tools, system integrations, or scripting.
• Curiosity with large datasets and a drive to surface actionable insights beyond the numbers.
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query/Power Pivot) and proficiency with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Senior Leadership team to understand business unit drivers and reporting needs.
• Analyze and report on P&L actuals vs. budget variances.
• Own budgeting and forecasting for multiple business units, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Lead the development of CFO Reporting Package and improve reporting/analysis.
• Build self-service BI dashboards and automated reports for real-time performance visibility.
• Lead end-to-end automation of FP&A reporting with AI tools and system integrations.
