Job summary

Leegle, a growing AI-native RegTech startup, is seeking a Senior Founding Product Engineer in Munich. You will own our software, AI, and infrastructure stack end-to-end, joining the line between product and engineering and talking directly to users to shape what we build next.

This on-site role focuses on turning the roadmap into shipped features, scaling the codebase, and ensuring robust cloud deployment as we expand to Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time software engineering experience with shipped products.
• Strong product sense and user-centric problem solving.
• Proficiency across TS/React, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure and GCP.
• Experience in early-stage startups and comfort with ambiguity.

About the Role

You'll be a Senior Founding Product Engineer at Leegle, owning our software, AI, and infrastructure stack end-to-end. You'll work at the intersection of product and engineering, turning our roadmap into shipped features while talking directly to users to shape what we build next. This role is critical to scaling our AI-native regulatory and product compliance operating system for manufacturers and retailers across Europe.

What You'll Do

Own the full software and infrastructure stack, from frontend to backend to cloud deployment. Translate product roadmap priorities into shipped features that deliver measurable user value. Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and refine our product direction. Maintain, refactor, and scale the codebase as we grow.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of full-time software engineering experience with a proven track record of shipping products to real users.
• Strong product sense: user-centric, problem-oriented, and able to generalize solutions across different customer needs.
• Proficiency across our stack: TypeScript/React, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience in early-stage startups and comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
• An AI-native mindset with daily use of AI agents and tools in your workflow.
• Fluent in both German and English.
• Background in B2B SaaS, LegalTech, RegTech, or AI/ML is a plus.

Location

On-site in Munich, 4 days per week.
