UN Women in New York seeks a Foundations and Institutional Philanthropy Advisor to lead strategic partnerships with philanthropic foundations and mobilize multi‑year funding in support of gender equality and women's empowerment.

Reporting to the Director of the Strategic Partnerships Division, the Advisor will set portfolio priorities, oversee governance, cultivate high‑value relationships, and coordinate cross‑HQ and field office engagement to secure scalable philanthropic support.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in international relations, public policy, development studies, business administration, philanthropy or related field.
• At least 10 years in strategic partnerships, philanthropy or resource mobilization at international level.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex portfolios.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and execution of the Institutional Foundations and Philanthropies Strategy.
• Advise senior leadership on philanthropic market trends and portfolio choices.
• Set portfolio priorities, governance and accountability standards.
• Cultivate and steward high‑value foundations and sustain multi‑year funding.
• Coordinate cross‑HQ, regional and country offices and national committees.
• Represent UN Women in philanthropic forums and strengthen external engagement.
