Job summary
Salesforce is seeking a Principal Solution Engineer to lead foundation and grantmaking solutions for nonprofit customers, acting as SME and executive partner on the most strategic deals.
The role combines deep grantmaking expertise with technical leadership, driving growth, mentoring other SEs, and shaping go-to-market strategy across Foundation/Grants scopes in the Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of foundation/grantmaking tech or solution engineering experience.
- Executive audience experience with C-suite and board-level presentations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud SaaS and Salesforce platform capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Act as principal SME on foundation/grantmaking solutions and mentor SEs.
- Own solution strategy and technical direction for large, complex opportunities.
- Partner with sales, post-sales, product, and marketing to shape GTM strategy.
- Lead discovery workshops and executive briefings with stakeholders at major foundations.
- Architect and present tailored demos and designs on the Salesforce platform.
- Own RFI/RFP responses and competitive positioning for grantmaking deals.
- Represent Salesforce as a thought leader at industry events and webinars.
- Provide input to product roadmap based on field feedback.
- Coach and enable other SEs and sales teams on grantmaking domain knowledge.
