Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Principal Solution Engineer to act as the foundation and SME on grantmaking within our Solution Engineering org, driving strategic growth and customer success across nonprofit cloud foundation and grantmaking accounts. This is a senior IC role combining deep grantmaking expertise with executive presence to lead the most strategic deals.

Qualifications

Extensive foundation/grantmaking tech experience and/or solution engineering background.
Ability to lead complex, strategic sales cycles with measurable business value.
Executive communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-suite and boards.

Responsibilities

Act as principal SME on foundation/grantmaking solutions within Solution Engineering.
Own solution strategy and technical direction for large, complex opportunities.
Partner with sales, post-sales, product, and marketing to shape go-to-market plans.
Lead discovery workshops and executive briefings with C-level and program stakeholders.
Architect and present tailored demos and designs on the Salesforce platform.
Own RFI/RFP responses and competitive positioning for grantmaking deals.
Represent Salesforce at industry events and webinars in philanthropy sectors.
Provide input to product roadmap priorities based on field feedback.
Coach and enable other SEs and sales teams on grantmaking knowledge.
